Instruction in contemporary ballroom dance with an emphasis on dancing as a physical activity that enhances physical fitness and social well being. The course includes instruction in rhythm, Latin, and smooth dance including swing, hustle, mambo, salsa, merengue, rumba, cha cha, fox trot, and waltz. The appreciation of ballroom dance be enhanced by a brief overview of ballroom dance history. Contact: 2 hours.
