This course is designed for students who need to develop a strong foundation in arithmetic before beginning the study of algebra. Topics include operations on whole numbers, fractions and decimals, exponential notation, the order of operations, ratios, percents, proportions, basic geometric concepts, and an introduction to integers. To enroll in MAT0024C, students must earn a grade of C or better. MAT0002 carries no credit toward the A.A. degree. Lecture or multimedia. Additional fee.
