Prerequisite: Acceptance into Paramedic program and anatomy and physiology prerequisite course(s) and EMS2522C. Corequisites: EMS2611, EMS2637 and EMS2662L. This course is designed to provide the paramedic student with the knowledge and skills necessary to thoroughly, accurately and rapidly assess patients found in the pre- hospital setting. The course focuses on history taking, techniques of physical examination, clinical decision making, communications and documentation. Contact: 1 hour per week.
