Prerequisite: MAC1105 and MAC2114 or MTB1321 and MTB1322. An introductory course in engineering mechanics with emphasis on statics and strength of materials. Through the study of basic concepts, the course develops the principles of analyzing the external and internal forces on structural members. Computer exercises are included. Contact: 3 hours.
