Prerequisite: satisfactory completion of College Preparatory English (ENC 0020) and College Preparatory Reading (REA 0002) or appropriate placement scores. Introduces the major issues and trends surrounding the field of juvenile justice, primarily in the United States. Includes an explanation and analysis of juvenile law, theories of delinquency causation, and procedural requirements in the system.
