Participants complete 15 hours of field experience in accredited public, private, or charter schools. Participants gain knowledge about students in American schools who are from different ethnic, cultural, racial and linguistic backgrounds or who represent different categories of diversity and how the needs of diverse students may be addressed. Participants develop reflective journals detailing their experiences and meet together to discuss their experiences as they relate to previous EPI course content.
