Prerequisite: satisfactory completion of College Preparatory English (ENC0020) and College Preparatory Reading (REA0002) or appropriate placement score. This course will examine the major historical events and personalities in English history from pre-history to 1603. This course will examine the development and evolution of political, legal and religious institutions. It will also examine the nature of English society and changes that occurred within that society. Lecture 3 hours.
