Prerequisites: Successful completion of EMS2611, EMS2613, EMS2637, EMS2638, EMS2662L, EMS2663L and EMS2639. The course focuses on the paramedic student's ability to integrate pathophysiological principles and physical examination findings to formulate a field impression and implement a treatment plan for patients with common complaints. The course involves classroom lecture and laboratory scenario practice utilizing programmed or simulated patients. Contact: 2 hours per week.
