Prerequisites: Acceptance into Paramedic program, completion of A&P requirement and EMS2522C. Corequisites: EMS2611, EMS2613 and EMS2662L. This course focuses on the rapid, thorough assessment of pre-hospital treatment of patients with pulmonary and cardiac problems. The student will become knowledgeable with causes, complications, signs and symptoms, and the full range of pre-hospital management of these serious patients. Contact: 4 hours per week.
