The purpose of this course is to provide information to students in the care and prevention of athletic injury. This is an introductory class which addresses how athletic and fitness injuries occur, are treated and how they can be prevented. In addition, it is the purpose of this course to teach basic strapping and wrapping techniques to the student as well as the rudiments of therapeutic modalities in the treatment of sports injuries.
