The course will cover the disease processes encountered in the acute and subacute setting. Emphasis will be placed upon etiology, anatomic changes, pathophysiology, assessment, and management and treatment of cardiopulmonary diseases and disorders. Case studies will be utilized to incorporate the critical thinking process. Contact: 4 hours per week.
