Prerequisite: satisfactory completion of College Preparatory English (ENC0020) and College Preparatory Reading (REA0002) or appropriate placement scores. This course will introduce the student to the fundamental concepts put forth in the sub field of comparative politics. The course examines the political structure of several states and political systems, both in the developed and developing world. The student is exposed to comparative systems of governance and is presented a clearer picture of the civil society. Lecture 3 hours.
