Provides an introduction to Radiography, including history, the basic operating principles of X-ray generators and radiographic imaging equipment. Topics include basic radiation protection, film/screen versus digital and computed image production, various imaging receptors, and the prime factors used to produce radiographs. The latter combines lecture with actual experience in the clinical affiliate. Manipulation of general radiograph equipment and accessories takes place in the clinical affiliate during Clinical Education and Lab Experience I, which is concurrent. Prerequisites: MTH 085 or adequate score on the Mathematics Placement Examination Co-requisite: RDL 141
