This course is designed to focus on the tasks and issues involved in the administration of several industrystandard network operating systems. Students will further their knowledge of network management through hands-on laboratory exercises in which they configure and manage network resources, create and maintain user logons, trouble shoot performance restrictions and perform security auditing procedures. Open lab time required. Fall semester only. Code 2 course fee. Prerequisite: CSIT 184 and programming experience or permission of the instructor
