The dancer is both the performer and the performing instrument. This course concentrates on forging the instrument through an intellectual as well as a physical approach. An economy of effort for maximum achievement can only be realized through an educated understanding of the musculature into a strong, controlled, fl exible and enduring organism capable of meeting the special demands requisite to artistic expression through dance.
