This course provides the opportunity for students to explore significant and controversial topics in Criminal Justice and the Law and to engage in an in-depth analysis of current events and important legal trends. This course presents an opportunity for the student to focus on special issues in criminal justice and to complete a research project on a topic of interest to him/her. 3 hours lecture Prerequisites: A minimum of forty (40) credits must be successfully completed from the Criminal Justice Program (Criminal Justice option or Corrections option) prior to enrolling in this course.
