The course will look at a variety of compositions within nonfiction, with importance given to the selection and analysis of nonfiction works ranging from memoir to creative nonfiction. The course aims to illustrate how nonfiction can both reinforce and reshape our original conceptions of historical moments and/or assumed truths.
