The main portion of the course will focus on security threats and virus issues involved in information technology today. This will include the definition and classification of threats and the common prevention methods including PC, LAN and WAN services and applications such as VOIP and wireless networks. SNORT and Firewall strategies will be covered. Prerequisites: IS 140 and IS 209.
