This practical writing course offers students guidance and experience conceptualizing and writing for a variety of electronic media forms including radio, television, film, multimedia productions, and the Internet. The brief exposure to messages created for electronic media, as well as the interactive nature of some electronic media, makes writing for the media especially challenging. Students will learn how to cope with these challenges and become competent media writers. 3 credit hours. Prerequisite: ENG 1530. J spring
