This experiential format places the student in the field for on-the-job training. Students will apply their academic learning in real settings and are assigned to certified field instructors who will evaluate the individual on a daily basis. Evaluations are based primarily on knowledge of the law, interpersonal skills and initiative, familiarity with forms, and the overall quality of demeanor expected of law enforcement officers. 2 credit hours.
