Students are given the knowledge, skills, and abilities to defend themselves during physical altercations while staying within the proper force/level of resistance matrix. Defensive tactics, mechanics of an arrest, transportation of prisoners, and searches are emphasized. Demonstration of learned skills by students is required. 2 credit hours.
