This course deals with sociocultural forces that hasten or delaysocial change. It is concerned with rapid social change and itsproblems, especially in developing countries. Case studies inhealth and education, industrialization, etc., are used. Research methodology used in biological and cultural anthropology is applied. Photographic/ audio-visual techniques in observation and recording of data may be employed. Prerequisite:AN 102 Cultural Anthropology.
