This course covers newspaper and magazine photographythrough realistic assignments, critiques, and reference to accepted practices. The work of prominent photojournalists is viewed and discussed. Photographic projects are required, including a photo essay, to demonstrate skill in documenting a subject through photography. Prerequisites: PT101 Photography 1 or GC126 Basic Photography or FA214 Fine Art Photography 1.
