This course addresses the theory and research on human behavior in relation to an educational setting.Topics include the theories, underlying understanding of learners, the learning process, the effective teacher, the role of motivation, how to evaluate learning, exceptional children, and the teachers role in establishing a classroom environment that maximizes learning. It addresses the application of the material in learning environments. Field experiences may be required. Prerequisite: PY101 Introduction to General Psychology.
