3 credits This course introduces the student to the advanced concept of writing Windows applications Event-Driven programming and the graphical user interface (GUI). Topics include: graphic controls and methods; displaying data in tabular formats; interfacing with Windows: keyboard, mouse and other devices; file system controls, creating and accessing files; arrays, object linking and embedding (OLE), data control and SQL; sending keystrokes, Active X controls for programming and direct sound; and creating custom property. Students will write and debug several applications using the above topics. PREREQUISITE: CP-215
