The completion of the survey of western architecture covering the modern world from the termination of the Baroque period up through contemporary movements both in America and abroad. Emphasis will be on the study of style by the comparative method, and on the relation between economic, religious, political, and sociological conditions and the resultant building types, form, and space of each given period and geographical region.
