A course in incompressible fluids covering principles of fluid statics and dynamics, pipe friction, flow measurements, orifice calculations, pumps and other hydraulic devices. Applications are related to fire protection systems and equipment. Public water system design with reference to American Insurance Association standards will be covered. Prerequisite: PHY 152.
