Public Safety Critical Incident Management provides students with information relevant to public safety forces (fire, police, and emergency medical services) roles and responsibilities when responding to an emergency. Additionally, the course provides information dealing with support service agencies and the concerns and roles of private business and local government in supporting public safety forces in emergency situations. The course provides information to encourage cooperation of all groups and agencies at the scene of an emergency, with a key component focusing on the goals and critical tasks of each public safety agency operating at a given scene. Prerequisite: Open to EMG students only or Permission of Instructor.
