A survey of the major Latino groups living in the United States, this course will focus on the most significant issues facing these populations as well as notable literary and artistic contributions they have made. Emphasizing literature, art, music and film, its primary aim is to provide a basic introduction to Latino cultures in the U.S. Taught in English. Does not fulfill the foreign language requirement for AA in Humanities.
