( 1) This is a level four nursing course which provides theory to assist the student in body system assessment. The nursing process is applied to clients with illness that interfere with nutrition and/ or elimination. For communicable illnesses, clients' needs are considered as well as those of client contacts and health care providers. The planning focus is the entire episode of illness, considering potential teaching needs and home health maintenance. Prerequisite: NUR 240 Co-requisite: NUR 260.
