( 3EQ) Designed to meet the needs of students who wish to strengthen their reading and study skills to the level necessary to handle the demands of college-level work. Emphasis will be placed on such comprehension skills as organizational patterns, outlining, overview outling in texts, marketing texts and summarizing; study skills such as listening and note taking, time management and library use; and vocabulary building, including dealing with technical terms in content area courses. Prerequisite: RDG 087 or Placement Test
