The purpose of this course is to give an overview of child growth and development, prenatal through six years. Special attention will be given to medical problems which may lead to developmental lags, also developmental stages of the infant, toddler, pre-school child, and child entering kindergarten will be discussed. This course will be a mixture of lecture, discussion, practicum, and independent study. 1 credit (1 lecture hour), fall or spring semester
