This course will focus on establishing and operating a small horticultural business. Topics to be covered include, getting a business started, laws and legal issues, marketing and advertising, professional selling, buying, pricing, wholesale sales, retail sales, financing, and ownership. Individual special units will focus on florist, nursery, greenhouse, and garden center issues.
