Prerequisite: BUSM 1220, BUSM 1230 This course prepares students to become contributing members of an office team. It specializes in the skills that allow administrative professionals to assume responsibility without direct supervision, exercise sound judgement and initiative, and make decisions within the scope of their authority. The course teaches basic business research techniques, meeting and conference planning, and professional portfolio preparation as well as job application and resume preparation skills.
