Prerequisite: CIVT 2022 or permission of department chair A continuation of CIVT 2022 Computer Applications in Surveying, this course includes the further use of computers in the field of surveying and the practice of civil engineering. Projects emphasize applications in mapping technologies and other CAD-based interfaces used for the analysis and design of various facets of civil engineering projects. Topics include surface modeling applications, advanced design of roadways, earthwork quantification, and hydrologic evaluations using industry specific software. (4 contact hours: 2 lecture, 2 lab)
