Prerequisite: MATH 1101 (can be taken concurrently) This course introduces direct and alternating current circuits with resistors, capacitors, and inductors in series, parallel, and series-parallel combinations. It includes the concepts of power and electromagnetism. The laboratories provide experience with circuits and electronic instrumentation, including meters, oscilloscopes, and signal generators. (5 contact hours: 2 lecture, 3 lab)
