Prerequisite: CRMJ 1110, ITIS 1005, ITIS 1030, ITON 1011 This course provides students with the basic knowledge and skills necessary to perform computer forensics and investigate criminal cyber activities. Students will gain an introduction to tools and techniques of computer forensics. They will also learn about file structures, data recovery, e-mail and network investigations, and expert witness testimony. (5 contact hours: 1 lecture, 4 lab)
