Topics include three branches of government, the federal-state relationship, political parties, voting behavior and interest groups. Emphasis on the public policy and public service roles of state and local government in education, public safety, transportation, health and welfare and economic development. Examples will be used from Ohio, where possible. (Social and Behavioral Science elective).
