Description:
This course introduces students to the topics and skills necessary to pass the industry recognized CompTIA A+ certification exams. Topics include computer hardware and operating systems. This course covers the basics of networking, virtualization, cloud computing, active directory, security, and mobile and wireless computing. Students will also learn how to upgrade and maintain equipment and operating systems and to troubleshoot and repair non-functioning devices. Utilizing hands-on labs and/or simulations, students will be able to demonstrate the IT tasks employers seek in a PC Technician. Students will take the TestOut PC Pro certification exam.
