This course provides students with a strong background in the history of musical theatre from its inception in the stages on the United States to the newest musicals taking place all over the world. In addition, students swill be trained in musical performance techniques and perform a ballad, a comic song, and a duet. Prerequisites: TH 102 and MU 119 or by instructor permission. Credit, 3 hours.
