Opportunity is offered to the student to develop projects of special interest. Such projects are to be approved by the instructor at least six weeks prior to registration day. After approval of the topic, the student is expected to engage in general bibliographical study, to participate in conferences with the instructor, to report on reading, and to produce papers as directed by the instructor. Prerequisites: Junior or senior standing, approval of the department faculty, and permission of instructor. (1/0/3) STAFF
