Designed to provide the student with basic swimming and water safety skills. Students that attain the necessary proficiency levels may receive certification in swimming. Recreational activities designed to provide fun and skill development are stressed. F/S (C, S) this course gives the student the option of receiving responding to emergencies or emergency response and CPR certifications by the American Red Cross or Heartsaver First Aid and CPR certifications by the American Heart Association.
