A developmental course designed to refresh arithmetic skills while developing basic algebraic skills in preparing for required mathematics courses. Arithmetic and elementary equations will be continuously reviewed as the following algebraic topics are presented: Operations with real numbers, operations with algebraic expressions, linear equations and inequalities, simple word problems, graphing, systems of equations, quadratic equations, operations with radicals and basic calculator skills. This course does not apply toward an associate degree. Prerequisite: MT 001 or MT 003 or appropriate college equivalent and/or appropriate mathematics level code.* F/S ( C, N, S)
