IT 123 - CNC Lathe Operation

A course on the set-up and operation of CNC lathes that provides familiarization with controls. Students will be able to load a program, perform minor editing and determine tooling using a technical drawing, set up tools, run, debug and fine tune the program to produce a good first piece. Several projects plus a final part-to-print project are required. Completion of IT 102 recommended but not required. Prerequisite: IT 121 or permission of the instructor.
