Fundamental concepts of spatial understanding and analysis for non-GIS majors. Introduces basic principles of GIS (Geographic Information Systems), RS (Remote Sensing), and GPS (Global Positioning System) and their applications in exploring and analyzing geospatial information. Students apply geographic information technologies to collect, manipulate, integrate, visualize, and analyze spatial data to generate information for solving complex problems.
