Instruction will be directed to the study of static force systems in equilibrium as applied to engineering technology. Topics of study will include: force distribution, moments, system equilibrium, free-body diagrams, friction, centroids, graphic statics, and moment of inertia. Prerequisite- Corequisite Prerequisite: MAT 130 Applied Algebra and Trigonometry or departmental approval.
