The total quality concepts including organizational, planning, monitoring and continuous improvement of the quality function in a business environment. Students will become familiar with the planning process including defining the process, customers’ needs, process measurement, analyzing data and quality improvement methods and philosophies. Topics also covered in this course include an introduction to statistical quality control and engineering ethics. Prerequisite- Corequisite Prerequisite: MAT 096 Elementary Algebra and Trigonometry
