An introductory course in the fundamentals and some of the advanced principles of CNC Milling/Turning. Topics to include: Introduction to NC/CNC Machinery (history, input media and tooling), New Part Production Set-up, Typical Controller Operations (store, load and edit programs) and Manual Part Programming of CNC machine tools using the industry standard “G” and “M” Codes. Prerequisite- Corequisite Prerequisite: MET 122 Manufacturing Processes II.
