Introduces students to literary and cultural inquiry through exploration of the compositional and aesthetic relationships between fiction and film. Analysis of various literary texts (predominantly, novels) as well as films based on those texts will lead to significant discoveries concerning fundamental differences between the two genre and perhaps, most importantly - the transactional dynamics that exist between audience and image, reader and word. Prerequisite- Corequisite Prerequisite: ENG 110 College Writing I
