Description:
Students interested in imaginative writing have the opportunity to investigate concepts and to practice techniques implicit in three genres: nonfiction, fiction, and poetry. In addition, the class publishes a 100-page bound annual book presenting creative works drawn from a campus-wide group of writers, which include staff, students, faculty, and alumni. Learning format involves class discussions, work-shops, and personal conferences with the instructor. Students are expected to work on various aspects of magazine production, including soliciting, editing, and arranging pieces. Prerequisite- Corequisite Prerequisite: ENG 110 College Writing I.
